How we find events

Northern Coast Events brings public announcements together to help locals and visitors discover things to do across the North Coast of the Dominican Republic. Our aim is to give you useful details and a clear link back to the people announcing the event.

Where we look

• Organizer and venue websites and public event calendars.
• Public social posts, community announcements and promotional flyers.
• Ticket and registration pages.
• Tourism, municipal, cultural, sporting and local news sources.

Other event directories can help us discover a lead. We follow those leads to original public announcements and use those sources to develop our own listings.

From announcement to listing

We combine automated research and AI-assisted organization with editorial review tools. We look for support for the event, its date and its location, check for duplicates, and write short summaries based on the available sources. Missing details stay unknown instead of being guessed. Listings can be updated as new information becomes available.

Each event provides source links so you can read the announcement, check booking information or contact the organizer directly. Research does not mean we have spoken personally with every organizer, and our guide is not a complete calendar of everything happening in the area.

Keep in mind

Plans can change. Before travelling, reserving or paying, please check the latest announcement or confirm with the organizer. Times, prices, locations and availability may change between our reviews.

Recurring activities are based on an advertised repeating schedule; individual dates may have exceptions. “Last researched or reviewed” indicates research or editorial review of a listing, not a new direct confirmation from the organizer. Practical notes highlight details that may help you plan.

Corrections and updates

Know about a change, cancellation or incorrect detail? Email Events@mtbfl.com with the listing link, the correction and, if available, a current announcement. If you represent the venue or organizer, please tell us. We review requests and can correct or remove listings as appropriate.

Ticket purchases and reservations are handled by the organizer or provider linked from the event. Please contact them about bookings, refunds and attendance arrangements.
